If you enjoyed Cube 52 or one of the many Henry Harrius products, you will really like Cubeify. Kev G is one of the best cube magicians in the world, and his clever thinking shows up in routines and ideas. One of the better aspects of this prop is that it is very easy to do. I know there are people that shy away from cube magic because they don’t feel comfortable performing the moves. Not an issue with this one. You will only truly need 4 moves, 2 of which are nearly identical. Now you will look like a cube expert. And the few optional moves that are mildly more difficult are still not difficult. It will not take you long ‘before you can perform this.

But the best part of this is the routine. Multiple reveals of artist and popular tracks. It reminds me of Michael Murray’s Show Reel, but with music. Kev and Paul also give you some very smart methods to force a song using technology you most likely already have on your phone.

Really well thought out and taught. Highly recommended.

Oh. Not a complaint, and I completely understand why they did this, but this does not come with a cube. Make sure you get a cube you don’t mind dedicating to this effect. I just didn’t want you to pick this up and then find out you need a cube as well.

  • Paul asks: I understand that embossed stickers (plus extras) are supplied that when applied, look like part of the cube. I'd want also to be able to customize / personalise the effect. So, is it easy to remove / replace the stickers. And how many extra stickers comes with it eg a complete alphabet. Can extra stickers be purchased from you or are they readily available from stationary suppliers. Many thanks.

    • 1. Kevin answers: The sticker sheet has over 280 individual letters from A-Z so there are plenty of spares. You could do a custom reveal should you wish, in which case I'd advise stickering up a second cube rather than removing and replacing stickers.
    • 2. Paul answers: Many thanks Kevin. Most helpful and thanks for the tip.

  • Jay asks: I have discovered that some cubes vary slightly in size. Can you pleases advise what cube size was used in video(s) where it fit properly into the supplied box?

    • 1. Kevin answers: Hey Jay, this was considered when designing the box which is 59mm. Standard cubes are 55-57mm and a range of these sizes are used in the trailer and tutorial as they all work just as well.

  • Paul asks: In the promo video, a 'Top 50 celebrities' (in the world) pack of cards are used for the force(s). Do you sell these packs of cards ?

    • 1. Kevin answers: Hey Paul, these are available here: https://www.vanishingincmagic.com/mentalism/celebrity-deck/ My personal preference is to use the playlist method taught on the tutorial, but if you're more confident with cards these are a great option. We do discuss a number of different methods and showcase these in the explanation.
    • 2. Kevin answers: No it's just a celebrity deck, which works well with Cubeify. I do explain the method I use in the tutorial, glad you found it so convincing. Enjoy!
    • 3. Paul answers: I do have the cards you mentioned but I wouldn't call them a forcing deck. Hence, I couldn't work out how the 4 celeb cards were apparently, very openly, forced. PS Cubeify is in the post to me. Cheers.
