TCC reimagines one of the most iconic effects of all time from one of the most influential magic acts ever created. This is a modernized handling of the "Milk in Light Bulb" popularized by the legendary magician Marvyn Roy (aka Mr. Electric) and his wife Carol in their famous "Artistry in Light" magic show.

A legendary classic reborn...

Instead of a large stage bulb attached to a cable, "TCC's Milk in Light Bulb" uses a more contemporary table lamp style light bulb. This makes it easier to handle and allows the effect to be adapted to smaller theater and parlor magic settings.

Since the "Milk in Light Bulb" is remote-operated, it can be performed alone. No assistant required. On top of the classic routine, you can also pair it with other light-related magic tricks.

The minimalist design of the table lamp is very elegant and modern. Even when viewed from a fairly close distance, there is nothing suspicious to be seen. They will never suspect that the bulb is anything other than a standard LED bulb either. In addition to milk, you can fill it with salt, a white scarf or any other similar object.

This routine is easy enough for even a novice magician to learn in just a few minutes. Since there is no need to perform any complicated switches, the magician can instead focus on the presentation.

This is a great stage or parlor prop to add to any table top routine. I used it in conjunction with a visual card routine on camera. I did the close up card routine with an over the shoulder camera shot that I projected on a big screen. For the table...I used a desk...with this lamp. It was a perfect set up for a milk in the lightbulb routine. The milk glass is great because it comes apart to clean! The lightbulb I received was not an LED bulb like in the video...but I like the old school light bulb better because it looks less gimmicky. Big thumbs up on this prop.

    • 1. Chris answers: It’s plastic but you do NOT receive the one in the video. The one I received looks like an old fashion incandescent bulb. It does not have the white plastic shroud like the led style bulb in the video does. A bit misleading.
