A unique card transposition with a memorable presentation.
You remove a golden picture frame from a bag. It is holding an old photo of Houdini that is sandwiched between two panes of glass. You freely show it on both sides before placing it on the stand and covering it again with the bag.
A card is then selected and a corner is torn off. This corner is given to the participant as a receipt before the ripped card is then placed back in the deck. The cards are cut and shuffled.
You then go through the deck to show that the card with the missing corner is no longer there. But now, there is a photo of Houdini among the cards.
The bag is removed to show that the ripped card has appeared inside the frame. It is handed to your helper for verification and they confirm that it perfectly matches the torn corner they're holding.
"Portrait Transposition" is incredibly easy to do and can even be performed surrounded. It works in both parlor and close up magic settings. In addition to the main routine, the detailed video instructions show you a variety of different effects you can perform (and you'll even receive some extra accessories for them).
Customer reviews for Portrait Transposition
I’ve closed with this trick in multiple close up magic events and it makes people audibly go crazy. The handling is so easy that a beginner magician can do it and the gimmick is impossible to guess. I’ve done this trick fully surrounded and there are no angle issues. You can set it up with different cards and even a bill or any sort. The price is fantastic and I recommend EVERYONE add this. Great product. I’m so glad I came across this.
