The Story of Breakthrough Magic

Greetings from the Mystery School to everyone in the Vanishing Inc. extended community! Jeff McBride and I are delighted to be partnering with Josh and Andi this summer with a brand new class, Breakthrough Magic, which will be held in Las Vegas directly before MAGIC Live! at the McBride House of Mystery on August 1-3, 2019.
From the beginning, our collaborative intention was to create a limited, hands-on, and high-impact magic educational experience. Our goal is not simply to impart still more “magic information,” but to help each attendee learn practical principles and real-world routines that will improve the quality and impact of their performances.
Our conversations began in 2016 when Josh and Andi attended one of the Mystery School’s world-famous Master Classes. Josh and Andi were simply fantastic: they came with “beginner’s mind” and experienced first-hand the kind of productive, growth-oriented magic education we provide. At the same time, Jeff and I have always been so impressed with Josh and Andi—with the Vanishing Inc. community they’ve built and the remarkable live events they’ve pioneered and delivered.
In other words, Breakthrough Magic was a natural partnership and it promises to live up to its name—not only for the participants, but also for the teachers as we put our various talents together in exciting new ways.
We are thrilled that Breakthrough Magic 2019 completely filled within 48 hours. However, this meant that many people who wanted to attend got closed out. We are sorry for that disappointment, but please know our plans are already underway for Breakthrough Magic 2020. Stay tuned on the Vanishing Inc. Magic blog for more information.
