Invisibly switch and transform cards without any cover required. "Outstanding" by Mark Mason is an ingenious gimmick that fits right into your normal deck of cards, allowing you to easily perform impossible feats that feel like real magic.
You remove all four kings from a normal deck and place the two black kings on the table. The two red kings are given to your participant to hold. With a snap of your fingers, they magically switch places. This is instantly repeated.
For a truly stunning finale, you offer to raise the stakes by placing the black kings back into the deck halfway. These black kings remain outjogged the entire time. The deck is tabled and you never have to touch it again. They're still holding on to their two cards.
You ask the audience if they agree would be a miracle if you can make the red and black cards change places again under these impossible conditions. They, of course, say yes. Which is why they're left speechless when they realize that not only have the red and black cards changed places, but they're now also the four aces.
Each "Outstanding" gimmick comes with a complete tutorial teaching two incredible routines (the Four King Trick and a stunning sandwich effect called Club Sandwich Plus). Though, the possibilities of this gimmick are limited only by your imagination.
The actual gimmick is pretty darn clever. I literally said "Oh, wow!" when he shows it the first time in the tutorial. It requires some basic card sleight and a little bit of setup, but it's otherwise pretty straightforward - but with a pretty cool switch
