Experience the past, future and present at the same time by taking a trip to "The Fifth Dimension." This incredible classic magic trick has been modernized for magicians of all ages to start learning and performing right away.

"The Fifth Dimension" is offered as part of the Murphy's Magic Apprentice line of easy magic tricks designed to help people learn magic tricks the right way.

You display a solid glass door in a frame and then place a playing card inside the frame, covering the glass. Next, you take a pen or pencil and pierce it right through the center of both the card and the door. It's a super visual and clear moment. The card is then removed to show that the glass has not been damaged. Your audience can inspect everything before and after the trick, there is nothing tricky for them to find.

The props included in "The Fifth Dimension" handle all the hard work for you. This is an amazing magic trick anyone can perform right away.

This was bought for my 8 year old son. He absolutely loved this.

The effect is very easy to do, and the instructional video is short, but very well produced. It gives all the necessary advice and tips to elevate the effect.

The frame, card and pen/pencil can all be examined before and after the trick, which is a real bonus.

Overall, this is a fantastic beginner effect and one I highly recommend to any young magician.

  • Fred asks: Your ad states "The card is then removed to show that neither it, nor the door, have been damaged." But your video shows that when the card is removed it has been damaged. Which claim is correct?

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds: The card end up with a hole in it. There was a mistake in the ad copy that has now been rectified. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
