"The Ghost" is a super easy to do close up magic trick that anyone can learn. This is a high-quality trick that professional magicians use, and you can start performing it right away. Even if you just got started in magic.
You start by introducing two yellow rings that will be the walls of your "haunted house" and a round disk that will be your "roof". A coin is then placed on a mat (included) and the two rings and disk are placed around it—trapping the coin inside the "haunted house".
While inside the house, a ghost seemingly steals the coin. Because, once you lift the roof, everyone will be shocked to see the coin has completely vanished. But, don't worry, it's not gone for good.
You place the roof back on and ask the ghost to return the coin. The rings are then lifted to show that the coin has magically returned.

I bought this for my 8 year old son and he loves it. The trick is self working, leaving him able to focus on his presentation. My only complaint is that the little mat is on the small side, and as the box was so small, it was heavily creased when it came. However, my son has a nice black close up pad which works perfectly instead.
For the first time I’m disappointed. The experience and skill level of a magician doesn’t matter to even to a beginner trick. This may be more suited for a video performance, other than a live performance. This is the only time I’ve given other than an excellent review, however I don’t think I’d ever use it for live close-up. Too easy to spot the gimmick up close. So very sorry that I cannot recommend this. For the cost, I have to chalk it up to a live and learn experience. In fact, I already have two more orders in process for books and cards.
