Effect

You start by showing both hands empty. Then you take a red silk and push it into the top of your fist. When it emerges from the bottom, it will change to white. If you want, the white silk can be immediately changed back to the original color.

Note: No silks are supplied.

The dye tube is great. I use 18 inch silks and they work fine. There are no sharp edges that cut your fingers. The tube is the perfect shape for easy handling.

Have a question about this product? It's possible others do too. Ask here and other Vanishing Inc. Magic customers will be able to respond with assistance! Alternatively, email us and we can help too.

  • Edward Alexander asks: How long can the silk be?

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds: A very thin 18" inch silk (or one that is diamond cut) will work, but the instructions recommend using '14" inch silks or smaller.
  • Edward Alexander asks: Would your 8" by 16" diamond silks work. Also how many silk changes are possible? Example: can I change a yellow silk to red and the red silk to a blend half red and yellow? That would be 3 transpositions.

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds: They will work. One color change, such as yellow to red. You can change back and forth between the two colors as many times as you like.
    • 2. Gary answers: I use 3 different colored silks for 2 different color changes.
  • Chris asks: Is it plastic or metal? I had an aluminum tube that tapered in slightly at the ends. It was smooth, and silks never "snagged" or had any drag like some plastic or rubber tubes do. Looking for the aluminum type.

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds: Plastic.
  • Andy asks: Is this gimmick the same as the one found in chameleon silks or is it bigger/smaller?

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds: Smaller
