Magic From The Overground by Paul Hallas has some good magic effects. There are some unique card effects. The first one is "Twist in a Glass" which is Twisting the Aces using a wine glass. I had to read it a couple of times for me to fully understand what is going on. There is some work not much to have this in your repertoire. Once you have the handling down along with your presentation you should have a nice piece of magic. Any type of card magic that uses a wine glass does make this effect from a walk around to a platform piece of magic. Towards the back of the book you will find a couple of coin effects that you need to obtain Copper, Silver, Brass coin set. Another effect I had to make sure what I was reading to make sure I'm following the instructions correctly. This effect shows you a nice and different way where you can use your CSB set in the real world. Paul Hallas gives wonderful references and lets you know where his ideas and inspirations come from. Solid material and putting together and finding props you will need to create some of the ideas in this book. I enjoyed this book and proud to include it my library for a great reference for a different style of magic.
