Junk set. The chop ball was completely broken upon arrival and the knitting on all of them look just meh. Dont waste your money. Buy a better set.

The Chop ball is so flimsy, when it drops into the cup, it makes the sound of plastic snapping together.
The knitting isn't the best, they create a lemon shape instead of ball shape.
Definitely don't recommend buying. Invest in a better set.

Mine were fine and look like the ones in the picture. They are bright and as for cheap looking.
I think that works for lay people. Especially if they are falling on the floor or you are more a casual performer. There is something to be said for simple looking props. These were fine and the colors do pop enough they will be seen and have contrast. But it seems other reviews may have had issues.

The rating says it all. I have been performing the Cups and Balls (w/ chop) for nearly 50 years, and need new crochet balls from time to time, so I ordered these from VI. Upon opening the box I was actually excited about the exceptionally vibrant red color, as the bright color would be seen from quite a distance... but that's where the excitement ended. These balls are extremely light so, therefore, difficult to manipulate. The "strong" magnet, as was advertised, is barely magnetic at all; it falls right off the cup, and off of a "silent assistant" while performing a color change. When using it with the chop cup, unless the cup is set down extremely gently, it falls right off. Personally, I don't want to have to be concerned about malfunctioning while performing... Don't waste your money!
