This is a really nice product. The small close up pad comes in really handy and it has enough compartments to carry or store quite a number of diverse items. Also get the TCC close up bag. I can highly recommend this product!

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds: Rather than just being a case, you can turn this into a performance surface.

  • Kent asks: I'm clueless about magic but shopping for a REAL magic setup for a clever 12 y.o. who would not like plastic and cardboard-boxed beginners' sets for children. A nicer 'magician's box', briefcase or hat is in order. So two questions: 1) can the box be opened only partially (and stay there) to hide its contents from the nearby (e.g. family at dining table) audience, and if not, do you have another recommendation for that? 2) What good is the 'working surface' for, i.e. what kind of tricks would it help with that couldn't be just as easily done on a table top?

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds: This is just an organizer for tricks that have already been bought, this does not come with any tricks other than the performance surface. This cannot be opened partially, you'll probably want to find a small briefcase. The mat that is provided is small but a very nice working surface.
