Customer reviews for Mexican Centavo Coin (20 Cent Coin | Single Coin)
I recently purchased a half dozen of these, and I was extremely satisfied with what I received. The oldest is 1953, and the most recent is 1971. All of them were in about the average condition of circulated, handled coinage of that age, a little dirty and rough, which was perfect, because one was a gift for someone who lost their 20 Centavo piece from their original 1980's Scotch and Soda set; that coin was as close to a perfect match as one could hope for.I cleaned the others with a little ketchup, and all but the 53 came clean (the 53 will be made into a pendant, given an unusual, unbelievable story, and worn by me!) These coins are GREAT! Totally worth the price. If I could give them a sixth, slightly larger star, I would.
Take a look at the beautiful coin pictured for purchase. I bought 2 coins, and they look nothing like this. The coins I received are an extremely dull, caramel color, and are flat out ugly. I can barely make out the word "centavo" on them. I certainly won't be using them in any coin routine. Avoid them like the plague. Greatly disappointed!
