An amazingly unique and fun lock prediction with a kicker ending that will leave them speechless.
The magician shows a safe that cannot be opened. They then show a deck and allow it to be shuffled. While this happens, they shake the box of cards. Something can be heard inside. But, it won't be revealed until the end.
The deck is shuffled and the person who mixes them hands two cards from the top and keeps one for themselves. The first audience members enter their card numbers into the lock and, impossibly, it opens! Inside, there is another surprise, because the person who original shuffled the cards finds a perfect prediction of the card they are holding.
This would be a great trick on its own. But that's not all.
The box of cards is then opened to show a piece of paper with a perfect prediction of everything that happened.
"Safe Prediction" is a great parlor or stage effect, and also works well with close up magic.
