Bond Lee's personalized and amazing effect is back in a new V2 edition offering new templates and new sizes for any performance space from parlor and stage to even more intimate close up and stand up performances.

"Tic Tac Pro V2" by Bond Lee is an entertaining, practical, memorable effect for professional performers. It is one of the easiest ways to leave a lasting impression on any client.

You engage your audience in an interactive game of Tic Tac Toe. Despite the fact that they make free choices throughout the entire game, it is revealed at the end that you perfectly predicted each move. The board is turned over to reveal all the pieces have been put together in a way that reveals a perfect image. You get 12 included templates that allow you say everything from happy birthday to happy holidays.

The strength of "Tic Tac Toe Pro" though is the ability to customize the prediction as you wish. You can reveal a message, special photo, or even a company logo. It also can serve as the perfect finale to a longer mentalism routine.

Everything quickly breaks down and fits in the included durable ABS case to make transportation a breeze. It's now also available in three sizes for any venue:

  • Small - 15in x 15in (39cm x 39cm) | 4.9lb (2.2kg)
  • Medium - 24in x 24in (60cm x 60cm) | 7.7lb (3.5kg)
  • Large - 28in x 28in (72cm x 72cm) | 11.7lb (5.3kg)

Customer reviews for Tac Tac Toe Pro V2

Mike
Please Note: My review is specific to the "Large" or Stage sized version.

I'll get my two "negatives" out of the way as they are the only two things that prevented me from rating this as "Excellent".

1) Again, for the stage version specifically, the easel that comes with the effect is trash. Will it work? Probably. However, on a smooth surface (like hardwood or most stage surfaces) the weight of the assembled board causes the 3 legs to slide outward. If the center piece holding the legs in the tripod formation ever weakens or breaks, the easel will collapse. I replaced the easel with a stronger one right away before ever performing this live.

2) The video teaches you a "marking" you need to do. This could be done right away with the original foam core board X and O tiles with no issue. On the new acrylic version X and O panels, the video's procedure is less than ideal. While I contacted the owner and they said the marking could still be done, there is a clear visibility issue, in my opinion. I solved this with a bit of white paint before adding the marks, so not a deal breaker, just a note for others.

Now on to the rest. Simply awesome. This isn't hard to do, just some slight memorization and maybe a little bit of a challenge if you aren't great with spatial relations, but if you're ok with that it's simply awesome. This is one of those effects that, while not complex to perform, will easily be the effect that your repeat clients ask you to specifically bring to each show.

The reveal isn't telegraphed ahead of time at all and comes as a complete shock when you flip that board.

Yes, you can customize the image shown for each show or client to make it more personal. That does require a little help from someone used to basic photoshop work if you aren't savvy with it, and someone to print it out for you if you want it printed on something other than paper. However, paper works just fine for those one-off shows if you have a decent quality printer.

If you think you may do it, it is certainly worth the investment, in my opinion, as long as you're ok with my negatives above.

This is the weird type of trick that becomes a "reputation" piece for just a little memorizing and printing :)
