Orphic/Orphic+ Orphic/Orphic+ Orphic/Orphic+ Orphic/Orphic+ Orphic/Orphic+ Orphic/Orphic+

The ultimate, organic EDC wallet for modern mentalists and magicians.

Designed by Lewis Le Val and the talented team at The 1914, "Orphic" is a truly remarkable prop. It takes the hidden magician's wallet functions you know and love, and re-engineers them in ways you never thought possible. You'll be able to perform peeks, switches and loads with ease. "Orphic" unlocks the door to miracles that are impossible with other magic wallets.

Inside the "Orphic" wallet, you will find:

  1. The most diabolical peek ever integrated into a wallet. When Lewis first shared this psychologically deceptive thing of beauty with the wallet makers, they thought it couldn't be done. What they were able to do though was better than anyone could have ever imagined.

  2. A bold, yet stunningly simple switch. Anything that can fit in this wallet can be switched. There are no flaps or moving parts to worry about breaking.

  3. A perfectly-designed secret loading chamber that is super easy to use. The perfect tool for predictions, revelations or even card to wallet effects with signed playing cards.

Each "Orphic" wallet comes with access to a comprehensive more than 3.5 hour instructional video teaching you everything you need to know to get the most out of this powerful tool. This includes a variety of killer routines.

You'll learn:

  • Five different invisible peek methods
  • Two drawing duplication presentations
  • One of the easiest serial number divinations you've ever seen
  • Two wildly clean card to wallets (including one with no palming required)
  • A named card to wallet
  • A wicked card-under-wallet routine with a kicker ending that will leave everyone floored

Orphic vs Orphic+

"Orphic" comes in two sizes. Both versions have identical features and pockets. You can use either version to perform any of the included routines. The ONLY DIFFERENCE between "Orphic" and "Orphic Plus" is that the "plus" version is 1cm wider to help make the loading of poker size playing cards even easier.

This wallet does three things: CTW, Switch, and Peek. But what makes it special over other wallets that do more? Simple! All three functions are integrated, meaning they interact seamlessly with each other. There are slight trade offs, one being the CTW feature is not the fatest nor the easiest on the market. I still think Harry Robson's Workers Dream is among the best CTW due to the Instant Reset feature for Signed Card to Sealed Envelope and a built in Mullica. But here are the pros: easy and very clean switch as it's on the outside meaning a partial full view of the item before and after the switch and can be hands off after the switch. Smaller minimalist wallet that is not breastpocket sized. The best pro is you can use all three features sequentially: meaning you can use the switch feature to accomodate different peeks etc. This is where this wallet shines: it does 2 things well meaning they can be combined and used together. Great that wallets are becoming more carryable and what a clever idea to share the different functions to minimize the bulk while allowing for performance flexibility.

I'm not a huge wallet person. But wanted something to fit my needs for a peek without being bulky or overpriced. Look no further that the Orphic. Well made, versatile and easy to adapt it was a purchase I should have made sooner. I got the regular but I'm definitely considering the Plus when it comes back in stock.

If you want a magic wallet, this is the one!
Exactly what I expected and more! 1914 is doing great things!

The wallet is well made and a dream to use. It is made of real leather and looks great. The videos that come with it include multiple routines and work with other 1914 products. A lot of care when into this product.

This is my second Magic wallet and by far the best of the two. While it can be used as an everyday carry wallet it will only truly accommodate a minimalist wallet carrier.

The items on the outside of the wallet will need to be taken out prior to use with the exception of playing cards and billets you intend to use. The inside does have a place to keep some billets but after a couple of routines, you will need to reload. Himber feature is deceptive and the card to wallet is deceptive. Most routines can be done immediately if you have minimal mentalism experience.

As a magician, this is a great wallet. As a mentalist, it is also a great wallet! I use this for No Palm stuff, though you can still easily load things into the wallet with & without palming. The peek is really deceptive & it is the first wallet that switches billets/playing cards on the outside of the wallet. I used to use Shadow wallet, but this has replaced it, for close up & for parlour.

This is it….finally. This is the wallet that I will use every single day. I will no longer look for another wallet. I’m a magician more than a mentalist, and Craig Pettys routines are fantastic. I ordered the Plus and absolutely love it. Get it when you can!!!

Everything you have heard about this wallet is true! I ordered the Plus. Very well made in every detail. The video with explanation and routines is excellent. Switches, Peeks and card to wallet all work as well or better than other wallets. If you are a wallet fan it is a must! If it is your first wallet, it is a great choice to start!

Does it live to the hype... yes it does, get now!! I got plus and do I love it, I perfer this over nexus, it's simple and easy to use, I did notice a very small rip in mine but it's not noticeable and I'm sure it's nothing, this will be my go to wallet, it's even made of real leather too!! So less problem with the long run, this wallet will last, and the instuction download teaches you alot and different ways to use the wallet for mentalist and magicians, not to mention how many pockets it has!! Get this wallet, this wallet is for a worker.

Updated review: I initially rated 5 for the idea and execution (reviewed under Seung). However, after carrying it for about two months, I've noticed some minor quips with the wallet for EDC. 1. The leather definitely has a lot of plastic on it and isn't the highest quality wallet leather. It smells and feels like a good pleather combined with cheaper leather. 2. The inside velvety material has already started to show wear. 3. I worry about the stitching. I'm a minimalist so I carry a couple cards, cash, ID, and B'wave but it has already started to show wear.

TLDR: Idea and Utility is 5 Stars. The build however is 3. It's serviceable but I don't think it can survive being an EDC for more than a year. Also, with this price range, I understand the limitations in using top grain leather but maybe quality pleather or carbon fiber-ish material could be used instead like those used on the Razor wallet.

  • Markus asks: What are the measurements of both wallets?

    • 1. Tom answers: From reading on the 1914 website, the Orphic Plus accommodates poker sized playing cards whereas the regular Orphic is more designed for business cards so if you're looking at a card to wallet routine or wanting to store gaffs, you should pick up the Orphic Plus (or if you just aren't sure...go with with the Plus to make sure you can accommodate anything poker size and smaller)
    • 2. Nigel answers: Orphic 115x80mm and Orphic+115x90mm. Both take poker size cards (88x63mm), the plus just makes it easier to load larger cards.

  • Tom asks: My question is how different is this than the Shadow Wallet with regards to the peek? I understand it has loading capability (such as card to wallet) but I was wondering if the peek is entirely different or somewhat similar as I already have the Shadow Wallet and have been happy with it.

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds: The peek is similar to the Shadow Wallet.
  • Shing Tak asks: I own Shadow wallet and like it, but it just can't fit my daily carry (I am carrying credit card, debit card, staff card, driver's licenses and one more photo ID, plus some blank business card and a 52in1) so for me Shadow is a performance wallet but not every day carry.) I am looking for something like Viper wallet but its out of stock for long time so the Orphic catch my eye, my only question is, instead of design and price, what the Pros when Orphic compare to SAW or Viper?

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds: Hi there. This is a great question but the answer is too big for this spot on the website. Would you mind sending our Customer Support Wizards an email and we can give you a more detailed answer? wizards@vanishingincmagic.com

    • 1. Jim answers: It works best with palming.

  • Rainson asks: Is this suitable for coin/folded bill to wallet(palm and load version)? Will it be flawless? My real man's Wallet does it really well

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds: Yes, a coin should work fairly easily. A folded bill will fit too. But, just like when you first started working with a card to wallet, it will take a bit of practice.

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds: You can switch items but it doesn't switch like a quiver wallet. The workings are different.

Or you are selling only the original model?

      • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds: I believe this is the restocked model
