Venom Cube - magic
Venom Cube Venom Cube Venom Cube Venom Cube Venom Cube

This is the ULTIMATE cube matching effect. They mix a cube and it perfectly matches your cube. A true stunner that can be used to close any show.

When it comes to matching cubes effects, "Venom Cube" is the ultimate solution. There are no switches!

You ask a spectator to mix a cube while you mix another cube (or have it locked away as a prediction). When the cubes are compared side by side...it's a perfect match. You can then even end by solving your cube with magic.

This method is hilariously deceptive, easy to do, and can be done absolutely surrounded. This is a show-stopping, show-closing miracle.

As you will have come to expect from Henry Harrius cube products products, you also get to learn a sensational new move: The Gear Solve. This gimmick-less cube solve looks so magical you will swear that the cube is somehow gaffed.

You receive:

  • The Venom gimmick
  • Two specially altered RD Regular Cubes
  • A velvet carrying bag
  • A set of stickers (with plenty of extras)
  • A comprehensive video tutorial

"The cleanest and best cube magic effect I have ever seen. It's wonderful. I love it"Angelo Carbone

"The method is as devious as the trick itself!"Shin Lim (winner of AGT Champions 2019)

"The next step in cube matching effects"Steven Brundage

"I love Henry's work [...] Prepare to be surprised again!"Takamiz Usui

""The Venom Cube strikes fast and strikes hard. It is the most open and direct version of the Sympathetic Cube available."Karl Hein

"A major step forward in cube matching effects. All you need is the skill not to laugh while you are doing it!"Garrett Thomas

I don't want to give anything away here but I will say this sat on my shelf for a while one I saw the DVD and learned what was involved. Not to scare anyone but #1 you probably should learn to solve the cube. You might also want to learn a stack. But that's not part of this trick its just to let you do other tricks like solves once you complete this effect. The assembly is not hard and will take an hour or less. Once you understand how the setup and resets work its actually almost self working. Very visual and very natural (motivated) looking handling.

Venom cube is by far the cleanest way of performing the matching cube effect, no questions asked! However, as stated in the trailer, it is a gimmick and you will have to keep that in mind as everything isn’t examinable. But, with proper audience management, you can perform this effect with ease!

My favorite cube trick. Setup is a little tricky, so take your time. But it really is an awesome effect, and easy to perform.

How great is VENOM CUBE? Well, I will let others tell you, based on my experience performing it.
The first time I performed Venom Cube was at a fundraiser, for a crowd of a couple hundred people. Afterwards, a man came up to me as I was mingling with folks, and offered this feedback: "I've seen Copperfield twice, but I have NEVER seen a trick like that! Absolutely incredible."
Another time, I performed Venom Cube at a performing arts center, and one of the people in that audience was the headliner, Reza (who is absolutely awesome, by the way). I had asked Reza beforehand if I could call on him to assist me on one of my tricks, and Venom Cube was that trick. He agreed, and so he was my assistant for performing Venom Cube. (We had never met before, and were not collaborating in any way.) Later that night, Reza was performing his spectacular stage show (including such illusions as making a HELICOPTER appear on stage almost instantaneously). I was in the audience, and when Reza took time in the middle of his show to ask the audience if we had any questions, I raised my hand. He saw me, and said, "I'll get to you..." then he took some other questions. Then, "Okay, what is your question?" I was sitting with my Dad, who had once been selected by Copperfield as a participant in THIRTEEN (in that very theater). I asked Reza, "What's the greatest magic trick you've ever seen?" I was hoping Reza would say "THIRTEEN by David Copperfield," so I could tell Dad that was his trick. But Reza did not say that. Instead, he told that crowd, "You did a trick earlier with Rubik's Cubes, and that's the greatest trick I've ever seen, and I want to talk with you after the show about how to do it." I put Reza in touch with Henry Harrius.
Venom Cube is a STUNNER.

I purchased Venom Cube after asking a Vanishing Inc representative a couple questions about it. The rep kindly answered my questions, and one of the questions was whether or not I’d have to learn a stack. Now I wasn’t opposed to it at all, I was only asking to get a better idea of the work that would be needed. I have never even played with a cube before. I don’t know how to solve one currently, but I’ve been practicing. Now for Venom.. the rep was wrong in my opinion. You do have to learn a stack. If you didn’t memorize the stack you would just have to refer to the tutorial over and over. So I guess you don’t HAVE to.. but you kinda do. With that said, this effect is great. Even with zero experience with cubes, I built the gimmick in about 30 minutes, had a stack memorized, and had the fundamentals of the effect down pretty well in about an hour. It is easy to do. It’s just choreography mainly during the presentation. Henry and his guests do a great job in the video as well.

One of the first big products I ever brought, and one that simply did not disappoint. This started my deep dive into cube magic, and still remains years later as one of the corner stones of my show.

Matching cube effects has many different methods, but this is the most simple and direct on the market, with no cubes having to leave the slight of the audience.

I would however recommend learning to solve a cube. While the trailer isn't lying when it says you don't need to know how to solve one, it certainly help. Being able to solve a cube is like being able to shuffle a deck of cards. Understanding the cube will make this better in generally

Venom Cube is my favorite (and to date, most performed) cube matching routine. I do a cube matching routine in almost all of my shows, including formal, corporate, youth and private events — Venom Cube is a workhorse.

It is probably the cleanest version of a cube matching routine you can do, as nothing ever goes out of sight, and the displays are very clean. You also end in a position to do a variety of other effects immediately following the matching routine.

I have RD360, Rubicon as well as some other "analogue" ways to perform a cube matching routine, but Venom Cube is the go-to for 90% of situations given the choice.

I bought this one time ago. It is highly recommendable. I really enjoy to perform it. If you are looking for the perfect cube magic, this is the one for you. Henry is the best creator of cube magic! You can’t go wrong with this!

Henry...you are soooo good. Have a few of his items now and to me, they are first class with such creative thinking behind them. This is no exception...quality all the way. Package well and really a pleasure to own. When you look at this trick the thought behind this is simple BUT it took Henry to expand and find a really beautiful way of doing cube magic in performance. I know I shouldn't do this BUT if whatever Henry produces next I won't even bother to look but purchase this sight unseen. Very few creators I can say this about but Henry you are one. The terrific thing about this is Henry has found a niche with cubes and expanded this throughout his many items. If he ever ventured beyond the cube what could he produce?...more quality I am sure.

EXCEPTIONAL!. This is the finest cube matching effect on the market by far. This is so clean it is unreal. People may be afraid to perform this really close up but after at least 5 really close up performances i can hand on heart say that NOBODY with the possible exception of a cube magician will spot this. Would have been nice to see two sets of gimmicks and the bag provided in my set was a little small other than that PERFECT. Seriously you will NOT be disappointed.

This is a high-quality item, and an amazing prop for illusion. It takes considerable setup time, and an investment of more time to get comfortable with the cubes (I hadn't handled a Rubik's Cube for many years), but the payoff should be worth it. I am about to publicly perform this for the first time this week...I expect some gasps!

I don't normally write reviews in products page and I don't normally do Rubiks Cube...BUT, I was looking for something to add to my mentalism act and when I saw this I was speechless. This is THE BEST product of it's kind. Well done Herry!

5 stars - Hands down, I can only give 5 stars because the system can only have 5, this should dererve a 10 stars release.

You could actually saw the Venom gimmick right in the trailer the whole time and yet you do not notice that. The gimmick is precision hand made so that it can be performed in parlor / close up standing at normal distance. Others curious it cannot be done in close up and this is NOT the case, I can tell you that normal restaurant work can be done by means of Venom Cube.

Besides, owners should pay attention to the Super Practice Session, a tribute to VHS magic instruction video era. Not to mention that the amazing Gear Solve, plus Henry also included the Recurring Nightmare solve which I personally chosen since it is easier and look better for me as I no cube solver.

In short, the best version of matching cube you can ask for and Venom Cube put an end on the battle of which is the best matching cube effect in my opinion.

Congratulations on Henry Harrius, who also was FISM Parlor Magic winner in 2015, he made his reputation in Cube magic, one of the close up magic genre in the history of magic through his excellent release in last few years.

By the time I got to Henry's stand at Blackpool, he had sold out... but he explained to me how it works. I am so pleased that Vanishing Inc. are stocking these. I ordered one as soon as they came online.

Henry's products are always super. I own all three of his items, and also many of regular cubes too. My opinion is that Venom Cube is the finest of Henry's creations to date. I am also a member of the Facebook group where there are many more good ideas to learn. Thank you Vanishing Inc.!

I bought this at Blackpool. I could well be the best magic gimmick that I have ever invested in. I thought it would be hard to do but Henry taught me how to do it in less than 5 minutes! The bonus solves that are taught on the video are a bit harder but are fun to practice and I am starting to get the hang of them! 10 out of 10 from me!

The quality of the gimmick will last a lifetime. 10/10

I find the cubes themselves to not be as smoth as a regular speed cube and it happened once during a show I gave the cube to be mixed up and because it was not so smooth, the spectator mixed it up and cube came a part. I have taken the cubes to the local speedcube experts to make them smoother, but alas it still feels very fragile. I now just tell the audience to mix it up slowly and gently, which seems to work.

Overall, I sometimes close my show with this effect. It gets great reactions and plays big.

The video instructions are clear and easy to follow.

Great product overall

  • Randy asks: How’s Venom cube differ from Perfect cube?

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds: There are no bad angles and the gimmick covers more sides.
    • 2. Dr. Munawar answers: Venom cube is as clean as you see in the trailer. No funny moves at all which makes this a far better choice to go. No offence I have all other matching effects on the market but this one is the one I am going to use more often
    • 3. Joseph answers: I don't think you show more sides. I watched the Perfect Square trailer and you can only show 4 sides. But I read a review on Venom Cube and they say that Venom Cube you can only show 4 sides as well.
  • Brandon asks: Can you mix up the cube that you hold in your hand has well oendoesnit have to stay the way it is.

    • 1. Jay answers: I believe their question was probably: Can you mix up the cube that you hold in your hand has well or does it have to stay the way it is?
    • 2. Brian P. answers: Huh?
    • 3. Khalish answers: Huh?
    • 4. Dylan answers: Without giving away the effect completely, the cube you hand out can be scrambled, then the move happens. Your audience will want to inspect the cube that they haven't touched yet, and you will be able to hand them the cube you were holding then.

  • Michael asks: I am considering purchasing the Venom Cube. It looks great. My reservation is that I already have Rubicon from Gregory Wilson and these products, for good reason, are not cheap. Before purchasing I would like to know if the principle for the cube matching effect is the same as that used with Rubicon. If the principle is totally different, then I am interested.

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds: The method is totally different from Rubicon!
    • 2. Carlos answers: If you like Rubicon you will enjoy this.
  • Khalish asks: Hi.I’m a totally beginner to rubik’s cube. Can I perform this effect with ease? Thanks in advance.

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds: Venom Cube is relatively easy to perform. After rehearsing it, you won't have any issues performing it.
  • Ryan asks: Does this require a paper bag?

    • 1. Tomáš answers: No

  • Tim asks: Just a quick question..can the cube be handed out to spectators for inspection. I ask this because i have found that the first thing a spectator wants to do, naturally is to loom at the cube!

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds: Yup! You can hand out the cube immediately after you solve it.
  • Brandon asks: Can u mix up your cube along with the spectator at the same time or is the spectator the only one mixing there cube up and your cube never gets “mixed up” in front of them u just hold a mixed up cube in your hand while they just mix there?

    • 1. Dr. Munawar answers: Yes, there is one method in the video where Henry will teach you which apparently looks like mixing cubes like you do in rubikon. Whatever. Ultimately you will love this effect over all
    • 2. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds: The spectator is the only one who mixes their cube, just like in the trailer.
    • 1. Dr. Munawar answers: Yes, there is one method in the video where Henry will teach you which apparently looks like mixing cubes like you do in rubikon. Whatever. Ultimately you will love this effect over all
    • 3. Tim answers: Yes, but you can presumably 'pretend' to be mixing your cube up by turning away while the spectator mixes theirs. Then, when you turn around and compare cubes they will be gob smacked that they match!
  • Gregory Von asks: I have perfect square. Is this a better effect ? Well I like this better than perfect square?

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds: We think so. Check out our blog post about why we think Venom Cube is the best gimmick for the matching cube effect.
  • Tim asks: Can I set the pattern of the matched cubes to whatever I want?

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds: Yup!
  • Randy asks: do i have to know how to solve a cube to perform this?

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds: Oh no. You don't even have to be able to *spell* cube. It's so easy, the gimmick does it all for you.
  • Randy asks: One last question - whats the difference between Venom Cube and Harry's other cube effects?

    • 1. Steven answers: Rubiks Dream - First release with 2 cube 5 sided shell size; One for normal cube, and one for mini cube. RD 360 - Second release only 1 shell normal size but with locking mechanism make it a 6 size cube shell and one level can be rotated to create additional level of deception the restored cube is a normal cube. Mini cube to chocolate - Mini cube shell vanished and became chocolate on spectators hand Venom cube - Precision hand made gimmick a new concept without a 3D shell that can achieved the cube matching effect. All in all the above releases each have bonus effect on cube solving including: Block solve by Vincent Kuo (Rubik's Dream) Akira Solve (RD 360) Gear Solve (Venom Cube) Not to mentioned you can join the facebook group of RD with more than 500 cube magic practitioners on this planet to share and collaborate your routines and ideas and almost everyday with new post from members!

  • Peter asks: How different is this to the giiker cube. Is the app designed around only the magic part or does it have and can be used for other cube activities...other than the illusion.

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds: This is entirely different to the Giiker Cube.
  • Rasmus asks: Could i perform something else (like a blindfold solve) before having the spectator to mix up the cube again for the matching effect?

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds: Yup!
  • Rasmus asks: How is the reset/set-up of the effect? Im currently doing the cube matching effect by Karl Hein in my street show and would like to change it for this version to be even cleaner. But i'm often doing about 3 shows in a row so the reset/set-up is a crucial point.

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds: Once you are proficient, the reset could be done in 30 seconds. Best done out of site of any onlookers.
  • Steven asks: Can I use any instant solve to solve the cube at the end or do I have to use one of the solves on the instructions? Also, are the instructions included with the set or do I download them.

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds: You can prepare the cube to any cube stack/solve.
  • Alberto asks: Two questions for the price of one : :) Does Venom cube allow for the clean display of all 6 sides or a subset ? Does the 10% discount apply to the Joao Miranda's "the Watch" ? Thanks Alberto

    • 1. Dylan answers: From what it looks like, everything that can be discounted will show the discounted price, unfortunately, the Watch is not included. Venom is not a 6 sided cube match, the closest you will get from my knowledge of using a gimmick would be his RD360, but Venom is definitely smoother.

  • Ryan asks: Is it a Rubik brand cube? Can you buy cubes to match the gimmicked cube (so that it can be given away at the end)? Is the cube used in this the old style cube with the stickers, or the NEW style Rubik with in-laid colors that can't be removed? Thanks!

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds: The Venom Cube is made with the RD Cubes that are available on our site. They are not Rubiked branded, but they look very similar.
  • John asks: I bought this and am impressed. I haven’t used it yet because I cannot decide which instant solve to use. Which one would be easier for me, a beginner?

    • 1. John answers: I have watched the part of the video where the recurring nightmare solve is explained. Is there any way to get the solve in written form? It would be easier for me to learn it that way. Thanks to anyone who can help.
    • 2. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds: The Recurring Nightmare Solve would be a good choice.

  • Joseph asks: Yo guys! I recently purchased RD Insta, Henry's newest project, but due to the angles, I don't think I'll be performing this a lot. I'm thinking about purchasing Venom Cube or Mini Cube to Chocolate, but I can't decide which one is better. Can ya'll help? I fully understand that all answers would be opinionated.

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds: They're wholly different tricks. One is the match of a cube a spec mixes, the other is turned a cube into chocolate. Kinda apples and oranges.
    • 2. Joseph answers: Yes but which one would get better reactions from your spectators?
  • D asks: Will the pattern always be the same? Meaning, could you do this for two (or more) people in the same group?

    • 1. James answers: The pattern is always the same.

  • Keith asks: If I bought this today would I be able to perform it on stage after a couple of weeks of practice?

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds: Absolutely! Just make sure you're familiar with the Rubik's cube.
  • Keith asks: When you say familiar with the Rubik's Cube I don't own any tricks with one. All I know about a Rubik's Cube is how to twist and turn and mix one up. Is that all I need to know?

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds: While you don't need to know anything about the cube, it is helpful to know how to solve it in case you mess up any of the algorithms/patterns.
  • Mark asks: Hi. I purchased this effect a few years ago and it's great to perform. I'm just wondering if you can supply the stickers for the cubes as I'm not sure where to purchase them from. Thanks Mark

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds: We hope to carry them in the future.
  • Rodney asks: Few questions, I hate spending my money on the same effects with different names. So, I have cube 3, cube 52 cards, and just ordered time cube. I know venom cube effect is matching the sides with 2 cubes, but is this also taught in Rubiks dream, or the CIB project? Would it make sense to own, venom cube, Rubiks dream, RD 360, CIB by henry harrius, and CIB project? why, or why not?

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds: While Venom cube is a totally different method, it seems like you have very similar effects in your arsenal in terms of presentation. It is up to you if you purchase it but this is a matching cube effect and if you want another one to add to your collection, Venom cube is a very fooling one.
  • Richard asks: I’m scared otf by t he fact this comes with “a set of stickers.” Will my fine motor skills be challenged before I can perform this trick, i.e. will I have to be pasting small stickers on the provided cubes before I can perform this? How ready is this to learn and perform “out of the box”?

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds: You will have to put the stickers onto the cube yourself before performing it.
  • Wilder asks: I was reading about the effect. I love everything about it, I did want to ask about Refills. Could you explain that a bit more? Is this if you are giving something away at the end or?

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds: There are no refills needed.
