Ambre

Four queens are cleanly displayed and arranged in a face down spread. The lowermost queen is turned face up...a gentle shake and it rises to the third position in the spread. Everything is fairly and cleanly shown, yet it happens again. This time the face up queen has risen to the second position. Despite the fair handling, each visual rise occurs with no cover, the last one happening instantaneously as the face up queen rises all the way to the top. Simple, elegant, visual, and baffling.
