Flame - magic
Flame Flame Flame Flame Flame Flame

Control and levitate a REAL flame on command. Flame will help you immediately grab your audience’s attention and never let go.

This is one of the most incredibly visual close-up fire magic effects we’ve ever seen. With Flame, you take out an ordinary-looking lighter and, on command, make the flame levitate above the lighter.

Flame is 100% under your control and 100% self-contained. There are no wires or external gimmicks. You can carry it with you anywhere and add an exciting touch of fire to any magic trick. When you’re not performing magic, the Flame lighter even works like a normal lighter.

Whether you want to enhance your favorite blister effect, slightly burn a card, light a bit of flash paper, or just want to freak people out with your magical skills, Flame is a must-have tool in the arsenal of every walk-around, close-up and street magician.

Must be 18 years or older to purchase. Note: the brutane does not include, you need to provide by yourself

This is an interesting trick. I have only used it a few times because I am worried about the flint. Since the creator has a video dedicated to replacing the flint, my assumption is that it does not last very long. Good thing is that they are cheap, but I am not looking forward to replacing it.

This is a solid piece of gear and I believe I have a way to mod it to allow me to change the flint or I can add an electronic ignition .

I hate gear that is disposable . This is prob the way to fix it when the flint runs out.
Basically , when the flint runs out , disassemble , use a set of diagonal side cutters to cut off the end of the flint well - at the bottom , just a tiny bit. Take out the spring , add a new flint , use a small screw and work in the spring and lock it down gently . The threads from the screw should cut enough into the pot metal to lock it in place l prob a small self tapping screw will work best . Simple .

I have the electronic assembly for magneto type of lighter and I will be using some JB plastic weld and will mount it inside . Unlimited spark because it is electronic - no flints . The disposable gimmick becomes reusable . Easy - the more you know :)

This was a fun trick that we used at our last venue. The guests young and older seemed to highly enjoy this trick and were quite in awe. We like that it is refillable for future use. We have been enjoying all our purchases for your company and will continue to do so. We have been suggesting this company to other friends and family that are interested in your type of product.

Iv had it for a few weeks now and been practicing with it and trying to get It down but only way I preform it remotely near good looking of there is ZERO air movement. If you breath to hard flame goes out. Cieling fan blowing on low flame goes out someone closed a door in the same room flame goes out. Forget about trying this outside in a shady spot . I can't use the gimmick to its full potential because of that and I feel like I waisted my money on it.

  • Mark asks: Is the lighter refillableand with what kind of fuel?

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds: Butane.
    • 2. Mark answers: Yes normal butane from a dispenser with a very fine nozzle on the end.
  • Jeremy asks: Can the spectator hold the lighter when we activate it ?

    • 1. Jim answers: Technically, they could, but I would advise against it. The flame is real (do you want to risk an accidental burn?), and you would also have to be holding it to make the flame move.
    • 2. Mark answers: I would hold the lighter yourself and create the incredible and amazing magical effect it is right in front of your audience. Let them gasp and use their hands to cover their mouths in astonishment. Remember you are working with real fire which burns so you don't want anyone hurt!

    • 2. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds: You can't change the flint but you shouldn't need to for a very long time.
    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds: This is covered in the instructions.
    • 3. Hugo answers: Yes, you can change the flint easily, just take out the piece holding the wheel, by pulling it out, then on the bottom is a flathead screw. Replace with any ordinary flint. https://imgur.com/a/k5AYHs0
  • Steve asks: Hi,I've got this to lite a handful of times, but now it won't,there is spark and plenty of butane,it seems like a dud, what is the next step?

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds: https://www.vanishingincmagic.com/faqs/returns/
    • 2. Steve answers: Many butane lighters get an airlock when refilled. With my cigar lighters, I purge them before refilling. Turn the lighter upside-down, use a pen tip to push down on the refill stem to allow the remaining gas to escape, then refill. This procedure is written up in the instructions of all better quality lighters.
    • 3. Scott answers: Check fluid level, Turn on power switch...see if that works
  • Nat asks: Can it be handed out for examination? Could someone light it and it would just behave like an ordinary lighter?

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds: Yup.
  • Roger asks: Can you use flame in a well lit location or does it have to be a darker area?

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds: You can.
  • Sean asks: Can this be shipped internationally?

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds: Please email us: magic@vanishingincmagic.com
  • Steve asks: Could the gaffus be moved from this lighter to one of my cigar lighters?

    • 1. Steve answers: I just saw the close-up of the lighter head. Transferring the gaff doesn't look possible.
