A practical and organic approach to "Ring Flight" designed for modern performers. Their ring vanishes and then re-appears linked next to your keys that they're holding in their hands. "Mesika Ring Flight" is another brilliant creation from Yigal Mesika (the creative mind behind "Spider Pen X", "Tarantula", and "Loops").

"Ring Flight" has been one of the most popular close-up magic tricks for years, and many of its variations have been tremendously clever. But, very few "Ring Flight" gimmicks have ever proven to be practical enough for real-world, everyday performances.

The original versions used a devious, but now very outdated, method that ended with the ring appearing on a key inside a leather key case. More modern versions have hidden the mechanism inside a fake key fob that was bulky and also meant you had the hassle of needing to carry two key fobs (if your car uses a real one).

With "Mesika Ring Flight" by Yigal Mesika, you're getting one of the finest "Ring Flights" ever created. It might just be the last one you ever need.

You invite your volunteer to play a simple guessing game. They have to guess which of your hands their ring is in. Before they do though, with a very clearly empty hand, you slowly reach into your pocket, grab your keys, and give them to your helper as collateral.

You then return to the game and they make a guess. But, it turns out the ring is not in either hand at all. In fact, it has completely vanished. They'll scream when they open up their hand to see the ring is now attached to a short keychain connected to your keys in their hands!

"Mesika Ring Flight" uses a patented micro-reel thats built right into a lightweight, ordinary looking car key. You read that right. It's not a fob, but rather a super slim car key that hides in plain sight. Pair this with clever routining that takes care of most of the dirty work before the trick supposedly even begins, and your audiences never stand a chance. This is a practical, powerful, EDC "Ring Flight" that you'll love performing.

The included tutorial offers three high-impact professional routines that you can perform anywhere. Yigal shares all the subtleties and nuances needed to amaze every audience. As a special bonus, he even teaches you his mesmerizing Rolling Ring flourish. You'll feel like James Bond when using "Mesika Ring Flight".

  • Stealthy design
  • Thin, lightweight key gimmick
  • Smooth retraction and noise cancellation
  • Foolproof hookup
  • Super durable
  • Instant reset
  • Exceptional quality construction
  • Patented reel system

"Mesika Ring Flight" is a genius creation. But don't take our word for it. Here is what some FISM-winners had to say:

"The beauty of Mesika's Ring Flight is found in its simplicity. A classic gimmick reinvented." Laurent Piron

"Mesika's Ring Flight defies all expectations. It takes the classic ring flight to a whole new level. This is a game-changer!" Shoot Ogawa

"Packed Small Plays Big! The Mesika Ring Flight is the best I have ever seen." Yunke

Customer reviews for Mesika Ring Flight

I've been doing ring flight since the late 80s; there is nothing special about this other than the compact apparatus. Even that seems to be a rip of the old Ringkey.
I bought my first ring flight in 88-89 and it's still going strong although zippered ring cases are no longer in common use. I doubt this apparatus will work for a year of performances; the original you could send in for repair.
One word describes the method for performance: LAME.
I hate leaving bad reviews, but this one deserves it.

  • Thomas asks: Is a jacket required with all handlings taught?

    • 1. Jeffrey S answers: No - if you check the trailer you will see Mesika performing it without a jacket.

  • Tom asks: Do you have to use the carabiner that is shown? Is that part of what is provided or are you getting the key and the clip that the ring gets attached to? Wasn't sure if the picture was just showing that carabiner as any key ring you can use.

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds: No one is sure yet as the product isn't out until April.
  • Stefan asks: This was invented 25 years ago by Steve Sheraton for Hottrix and called RinKey Dinky: A car key with the r**l built into the key's top. Exact same thing. I still have mine and it looks nearly identical. Is this licensed or credited?

    • 1. Larry answers: I have the original Ringkey, too and it looks very much like this. Hotrixx still sells them for $19. This is not the innovation it's advertised as and I hope it's not a ripoff because I see no mention or credit anywhere!
    • 2. Andreas answers: Buy it, see if it is really the same thing, watch the tutorial and then you will see if it is credited and if not contact the creator. Until then stop revealing methods.
    • 3. Larry answers: Yep. It's a ripoff. No methods are revealed here. In fact the question and answer reveals less method than in the misleading advertising copy that makes it seem that Mesika invented this without crediting the original.
    • 4. Steve answers: I bought the Ringkey Dinky to compare with Mesika's Ring Flight: * The key is a more modern-looking key than the Ringkey Dinky. * The reel feels much smoother than the Dinky. * Neither clasp is as good as the clasp used on my original from the 80s. I prefer the Mesika's apparatus so I will keep it. Shame on the retailers handling this without requiring the appropriate credit to the original Ring Flight and Ringkey Dinky. Of course, this is to be expected in the magic biz; the intermittent calls for better ethics are, well, intermittent ??

  • Adam asks: Does it lock once retracted?

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds: It does not.
  • Mike asks: This looks really excellent. It is described as ‘super durable’ which is reassuring. How long is the mechanism expected to last, please.

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds: With proper care, this will last you several years.
