In related effects (e.g., Chris Kenner’s Air-Coppers, and Richard Sanders’ Interlace) the ring vanishes first and then appears tied on the laces of a shoe. Here, however, you blatantly place the ring on the lace and then shake your foot until it’s not just on it but on it on it. This simple penetration effect is simply not as good as its predecessors. Then again, this one isn’t exclusively owned by David Copperfield, nor is it particularly expensive.
