A borrowed ring appears LINKED ONTO YOUR HEADPHONES that are wrapped around your phone...in your back pocket! Sleek, modern, powerful, and memorable.
iFlight is an update for the classic "Ring Flight" effect, in which you cause a borrowed ring to reappear somewhere unexpected. Rather than use a leather key wallet (which are rarely seen these days), creator Bill Perkins has devised a simple yet stunning solution to load a borrowed ring onto the middle of your headphones, which are wrapped around your mobile phone. Watch the trailer for an accurate depiction of how great this looks in real time.
It's easy to do and comes with a gimmicked marker that facilitates everything. Use YOUR phone, YOUR earbuds, and anyone's ring. No alterations to your clothing is necessary, and once you have this special gimmick, the routine is impromptu and easy to perform.
What you get:
This is a great method and an innovative take on the ring flight plot. Unfortunately wires on earbuds have now been outdated so this product will naturally fizzle out. If you purchase this and learn this a good thought would be to ask what other applications you can do with this with different but similar props
This is a clever little trick that works really well. The downside is that wired ear bud head phones are bit retro nowadays. However, an old bloke like me can still get away with using them. After all, I still listen to CDs on a Sony Discman! (I also have noise cancelling bluetooth headphones for listing to music on my phone but haven't worked out how to use those headphones in a magic trick yet!) The instructions for iFlight are clear and thorough. The prop is well made. There is a bit of set up needed but once this is completed, the prop can sit undetected in the back pocket of your jeans ready to go. I would recommend using this as an opener for a series of effects with a borrowed finger ring. If you own Tarantula 2 or Steve Thompson's Flite, you will have some ideas where to go after this effect. If you know a linking finger ring routine, that might be another possibility. However, linking finger rings are probably best for a stage (or possibly parlour) setting. I think that iFlight probably works best as street magic or an impromptu effect in a bar or restaurant.
