If all the world’s a stage, then Robert Baxt wants better lighting! Perhaps that’s why when he graduated college and had to choose between Ringling Brothers Clown College and Law School he chose the system to get trained in comedy: Law School!

But, realizing that no one ever applauded an attorney after a hard day of cheating people, after getting his juris doctorate, he returned to a full time career in show business.

Comedy clubs, casinos, and college campuses, and even winning FISM in the Comedy Magic category were not enough for this gifted actor. He found himself making television appearances in South America, the Orient, Italy, Canada, and Spain, as well as numerous showcases on “America’s Funniest People” on ABC television, and on "That’s So Funny” in syndication. As an actor, he can be seen in the eighth season of the CBS hit TV show "How I Met Your Mother" playing the lawyer partner, in the dramatic film “Even Money, and in the French film "Parti Avec Le Vent."

However the magic community best knows him as one of the busiest family and kid show performers in Los Angeles, and a very funny guy who enjoys lecturing and performing for magicians at local clubs and conventions around the world. Robert has released many original tricks and DVDs. If you own them, you know that the script writing and routines are excellent. Why? Because all of Robert’s products are more than audience tested. They have been part of his performing repertoire for years.
