Piff the Magic Dragon

Piff the Magic Dragon is one of magic’s most original voices, combining razor‑sharp comedy with strong, inventive magic. A multi‑award‑winning Las Vegas headliner with his own theatre on the Las Vegas Strip, Piff has been featured on Penn & Teller: Fool Us, America’s Got Talent, and stages worldwide. As Guest of Honour at The Session 2026, Piff will be performing and lecturing—offering a rare chance to learn from his unique approach to character‑driven magic and comedy.

Taylor Hughes

Taylor Hughes’ signature blend of comedy, magic, and audience interaction has been enjoyed in over 3,000 shows performed over 20 years. Taylor has become a favourite among magicians and lay audiences alike, earning praise for his style, originality and clean, engaging performances. His comedy‑magic specials Chasing Wonder and Enjoy The Ride have reached huge audiences worldwide. Taylor will be performing a full one‑hour show, and sharing his expertise in a detailed lecture.

Leah Orleans

Leah Orleans is a dynamic performer known for blending acrobatics, contortion, magic, and humour into a unique circus‑magic hybrid. With over 15 years of experience and training from coaches with Ringling Brothers, Cirque du Soleil, and Broadway, Leah delivers a high‑energy, skilful show that combines classical technique with modern comedy. Leah blew the roof off Magifest last year, and will be doing the same at The Session.

Jade Simone

You probably know Jade Simone as Piff’s energetic and hilarious sidekick and showgirl. But perhaps you didn’t know that she’s also an experienced comedian in her own right. You’ll see Jade in our closing Piff the Magic Dragon show, but you’ll also see her in a whole new light as she hosts our Friday General Session.

Christian Grace

We've all been fooled by Christian Grace on countless occasions and we're pretty sure it will happen again at The Session! Presenting his full lecture for the first time at The Session, Christian is the creator of Vanishing Inc. best-sellers like Level One, Miracle One, and Switch One!

Alexander Hermann

No, not that one! Alex is a young, vibrant German magician full of creativity, charm, and chops. He is known for his creative and thoughtful approach to magic, with a focus on routines that are easy to perform, practical, and highly deceptive. Last year we released his smash hit Ultimate Free Choice and in 2026 Alex will be sharing something new; we’re sure you’re going to love.

Laura London

Born and raised in London, Laura is currently the magician of choice at many fashionable London venues, corporate events and private parties. She has performed for both King Charles and Queen Elizabeth at Buckingham Palace and at The Session will be talking about Sophie Lloyd; the woman who managed to fool The Magic Circle by posing as a male magician named Raymond Lloyd and passed her exam to secretly become the first woman member of the club.

Chloe Baldwin

Chloe Baldwin is a wonderfully unusual combination of performer, musician, and fight choreographer known for her dynamic stage presence and commitment to strong, character‑driven storytelling. Classically trained at The Theatre School at DePaul, Chloe’s credits span major Chicago theatres as well as the first U.S. National Tour of The Woman in Black.

Morgan Howard

Morgan Howard is an actor and musician who will be part of the Tiny Girl, Big Show trio. After her performance at The Session 2026, Morgan will be talking about integrating music into your magic performances with examples directly from the Tiny Girl, Big Show, which you’ll get to see the night before.

Reuben Moreland

Moreland hails from New York City, and his career started out in a most unusual way: he was a meme! A short clip of Reuben walking outside at Magic Camp as a teenager and “popping” an appearing cane went viral, garnering millions of views. Reuben has since leaned into his nerdy magic persona, and created a show that has taken fringe festivals (Adelaide and Edinburgh) by storm. He brings his raucous, R-rated magic show to our late night stage.

Jason England

Las Vegas’ Jason England is a great magician, but he is also one of the world’s foremost experts in card cheating techniques. He has spoken for and advised casino industry insiders, and also befriended many of the world’s finest cheats. You like short cons? Long cons? Advantage play? False deals? Let Jason take you inside his fascinating, underground world of card cheats. It most decidedly isn’t fair, but it’s a dazzling and fascinating niche to explore.

Mortenn Christiansen

Having one of Denmark’s most sought-after, clever magicians is always a nice addition to The Session. But things got a lot more exciting in August, when Mortenn won first place in parlor magic at FISM. He is now the only two-time FISM winner in two different categories (he won comedy magic at the last world championship in 2022). He is back with a brand new act and a new lecture.

Pete McCabe

Pete McCabe is both an acclaimed author on several best-selling magic books (most notably Scripting Magic 1 & 2). But Pete is also a screenwriter in Hollywood. This dual speciality makes him the ideal person to speak to us about scripting our magic and how to ensure that the presentations we offer are as engaging as the magic we present.

Luis Olmedo

A world champion in Micro Magic at FISM, Luis took the magic world by storm with his poetic act that integrated eye-popping coin magic with the production of leaves from a tree. Now we invite Luis to share with you the depth of his repertoire and thinking. He’s not just a champion with a stunning eight-minute act. He’s a magician with bold ideas and fantastic technique, and he’s here to share it all with you.

Chris Power

We’ve been after Chris Power for years, and at long last, he will make his Session debut. For many years, Chris produced Opus, an underground sleight-of-hand journal that contained some of the most influential magic of its time. Chris himself is famous for his soft touch and subtle, beautiful work with coins, cards, and small objects. Chris will share a best-of lecture of his latest and greatest effects.

Lloyd Barnes

When Lloyd Barnes came on the scene, it was as a magic industry personality–he was among the best marketers and presenters in our industry. But we didn’t quite understand how clever, intelligent, and lovely his own material was. We’re so proud to present a lecture on Barnes’ signature close-up effects; see why Lloyd has become such an acclaimed creator in this blockbuster lecture.

Yoan Tanuji

Yoan Tanuji has been a professional performer for over 20 years and is the co-owner of Magic Dream shop in France. In this 15-minute talk, Yoan introduces you to his secret concept: the 'WHY MOVE.'

Alice Pailhes

Dr. Alice Pailhès has pioneered the scientific research on magicians' forcing techniques. Her research mainly focuses on using magic tricks to study psychological principles such as illusory sense of agency and freedom over choice, decision-making processes and memory malleability.

Gustav Kuhn

Dr. Gustav Kuhn runs the MAGIC-lab where they investigate the psychological and neurological mechanisms that underpin magic. He will explain how their research can help improve your performance and how psychology can give you a deeper understanding of magic.

Luke Jermay

Our first and only regular lecture spot belongs to Luke Jermay. You've seen him lecture on mentalism many times at The Session, but you'll be shocked at just how different his 2026 lecture will be. We predict this will be a highlight of the convention!

Michal Kociolek

You may recognize the name Michał Kociołek from the stunning posters that he has designed for The Session for the past fifteen years. Or, you may know him from his stunning design work as Vanishing Inc.'s lead graphic designer. However, Michał is also an incredible creator of card magic, with powerful releases such as Stratis, Polish Poker, and the Plots & Methods book series.

Optional Workshops

We’re offering two intimate, hands-on workshops this year, each limited to just 40 participants. These workshops are the closest you can get to a private lesson with these magic luminaries. Both Jason and Pete hail from the United States and this is their only UK workshop, so we encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity.

Workshops allow us to dive deep on a subject in a way a convention lecture just can’t. In this case, we have experts in advanced sleight of hand and scripting magic, two areas that all magicians should aspire to improve. Immerse yourself in the worlds of these experts and sign up today.

Pete’s workshop focuses on crafting stronger performances through better scripts. Drawing from his acclaimed Vanishing Inc. books Scripting Magic and Scripting Magic 2, Pete will guide you through practical exercises to turn good tricks into memorable presentations.

Introducing The Session Basecamp

We have all felt overwhelmed by the idea of coming to a magic convention. What if you don’t know anyone? Are people friendly? Who will you chat with? Who will you have dinner with? What if you’re nervous or anxious?

This year, we’re proud to announce new offerings designed to help first-timers, or those who want to make more friends feel as welcome as our The Session veterans.

We’re calling it Basecamp. A safe place you can return to any time you need.

Welcome Event
After the first session, all first-timers are invited to a breakout room where you’ll get to meet your hosts Josh and Andi and your other friends-to-be. We’ll make sure you’re welcomed properly and get to meet each other. Friendships could be formed here that will last you a lifetime. We can’t wait to meet you.

Basecamp Tables
We know how it can feel awkward for a first-timer or magic beginner trying to join a jam session already in progress. Or that the idea of eating alone can feel intimidating. So, this year, we’re reserving special tables in the convention area exclusively as your “Basecamp”.

These tables will be marked with table tents and will often have hosts present to help people get to know each other, to encourage us all to help each other with moves, or tricks, and to just generally have the best of times. Whether you’re working on a new trick or just want to see some cool magic, these tables will be a great place for Basecampers to gather.

The Session is undoubtedly one of the best weekends of the year for magicians and mentalists. We don’t want you to miss anything. So we’re doing everything we can to make sure you feel welcomed and have an incredible experience.

Anyone who loves magic! You don’t need to be an experienced magician either. Even if you’ve just been bitten by the magic bug or never attended a conference before, you’ll learn so much and be so inspired.

Where is it?

The Session is arguably the most convenient convention in the world. It takes place at the Heathrow Marriott, which is just minutes from Heathrow airport. It’s super easy to get to.

You’ll be coming to our two additional workshops during the convention. This alone has a value of £120 and is included in your VIP ticket.

Priority Seating
VIPs don’t have to worry about wasting time standing around in the Gala Show queue. We’ll open early for VIPs allowing you a chance to get the best seats in the house before the room is opened up to all other guests.
