Magic by Danny Orleans
A former elementary school teacher who taught Kindergarten as well as Algebra to Middle School students, Danny Orleans has been recognized as an expert on presenting magic to children. Along with performing magic at kids' birthday parties, he's toured school shows nationwide and, with his wife Jan Rose, toured a theater show to museums and children's theaters in the U.S., Canada, and the Virgin Islands.
Together, they have lectured on the Art of Presenting Magic to Children at magic clubs and conventions throughout the U.S, Western Canada, and the United Kingdom. In 2015, they lectured at FISM2015, The Midwest Magic Jubilee and will be lecturing and performing at the 2015 Magic Weekend in Sweden.
Danny's area of expertise is how to control the behavior of children during a kids show performance. He has shared his original approach on how he does this in journal articles, some free downloads on AmazeKids and his DVD sets. His new book, "Kids Show Masterplan" teaches how to build a kids magic show covering character development, performance settings, trick selection, audience management and marketing. It's destined to be a modern day classic for kid show entertainers.
